Autonomous Basketball Shooting Robot

Objective

This was a final project for the course ME588: Mechatronics during my Fall semester at Purdue. Our team secured first place in the final project competition held at the end of the semester. The objective of this project was to design and develop an autonomous robot that is capable of playing basketball in a predefined environment. The court dimensions and rules were taken into consideration while brainstorming ideas and designing the robot.
